Certainly CBS will move LSU Bama to primetime.....won't they?

I just read in advocate something about LSU having all of their games 2:30 CBS
They won't be stupid enough to NOT move #1 v #2 to primetime......will they?

For CBS their "primetime" slot is 2:30pm. The play around and have one big game at night per year. This year it was Florida/Bama.
If you're talking about ratings, do you think it would be smart of them to air at the same time as ABC's game of the week?

Its under contract that CBS can only show one primetime game, and they cannot go up against another primetime SEC game on ESPN.

Yes. See the above post about contracts. If another SEC team is on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, or ESPN U at night they cannot have a night game on CBS. It's in the TV contract. That's why ESPN pays billions to air the SEC and still doesn't get the rights to the week's best game.

The one CBS prime time game is normally shown early in the season. The last few years UF has been involved, I believe dating back to 06 to now. 06 was UF vs UT, then UF vs LSU 07-09, and UF vs Bama 10-11. If they were concerned about using the one 7pm game they get annually for LSUvs Bama, they wouldn't have shown Bama at Fla already. Let it go. Our game will be at 1430 (I'm USAF Ret, yo!) Don't mean to sound rude at all, but the CBS schedule has been pretty consistant for a few years now. If it changes for this one year, it's gravy. But don't bet on it.
