Some players don't do as well in games as practice. Traore could've dominated in practice but just cant translate it well in games.

Some also struggle more when the guys around them aren't quite as good.

I think they just had higher expectations with Traore being a JUCO he would be a plug and play.

but Deculus was a very high 4* so hes pretty talented as well.

I really doubt he had been dominating chaisson in practice

Giles needs to get the ball more. Doing well in practice. just need to feed him the ball.

Good. Not bashing O but that isn’t his specialty. Saban doesn’t coach QBs either he coaches DBs

So, was kind of "vanilla" approach part of the problem against SLU? Whatever the flavor, #LSU is last in the SEC in total offense, however you slice it

t’s crazy how the fans can see this after 1 week yet they’ve watch them all fall and still couldn’t get it right

Magee was the starter there and Deculus was gonna be the swiss army knife that filled in at all positions outside of center if need be. The plan coming out of camp wasn't Taore at RT.

That’s O trying to rile up the wideouts. Last time he called out a position group our kicker hit a game winner.

O is right though , WR have been slightly disappointing to me but the routes aren’t exactly player freshman friendly.

When tbob asked about max pro being a negative and maybe use more 4 wr sets n quick throws we get a “good point” what a clown show.

How come this doesn't seem to be a problem at the schools we need to compete against?

Surprising since he has repeatedly said they are the strength of the offense and they have the best WR coach in the history of the game teaching them how to run routes.

I still think this whole thing is a clusterfrick, but credit to O for recognizing the issues and taking steps to fix them.

The SLU game served the purpose of learning about personnel...kinda like a midweek baseball game. Unfortunately we found out more bad things about personnel than we did good when it comes to o-line.
