Lots of room for a decent pitcher.

Yes this is the young man that signed with LSU. He has been very impressive so far.

Kid is a stud. He did a great job tonight. Central vs WM tomorrow night at 6p for the 5A State Championship.

Buddy of mine from Sam H said they had him clocked st 91-92 all night and he appeared to throw very effortlessly. Needs to add a little weight and velocity should jump pretty quickly.

He pitched really well. I wasn't sure his velocity but it appeared upper 80's to low 90's. Spotted his pitches real well. Seemed to throw 3 pitches. He has lots of confidence pitching in such a big game. Seems like a kid that wants the ball.

I believe he might be related to a former LSU atleet.

He threw very well last week against Denham as well. His slider has a real tight spin and breaks hard. People from the Central program are saying he won't qualify though and will have to go the JUCO route.

Thanks for the info. Any chance he is drafted by an MLB team next month, especially in late rounds?

He sits 86-87 with his FB; he may occasionally touch 90. I've seen a lot of his pitches get clocked the last few years. Great slider with depth. Throws effortlessly and very good under pressure. He has a lot of room to grow, he's only about 150 lbs. comes from a great family. he is most likely going Juco.

Not the OP, but yes. I heard he has zero chance of playing for LSU

Yes grades are what's going to hurt him. Will end up at a JUCO and most likely get drafted out of there. Great kid and family.
