At about the 9:35 mark a reporter askins him about the LSU DBs. Said that LSUs DBs are the best he has seen on film and that "they earned the name DBU." Obviously the Big 12 isn't known for dominating DB groups (sorry UT) but it is interesting to see Lamb be so deferential to LSU's DBs.

Also said Stingley will be the best DB he has gone against.

I think it's pretty clear they are the most complete unit in the nation when healthy.

People like to talk about all the points given up this year, and all the yards surrendered, and all the WRs open downfield. But I've said it all year. This defense is fine.

Yall just sit back and enjoy the show Saturday. It's easy to be nervous about all this, but really enjoy what you are watching, because this is a once in a generation team.

So every team we play claims we are the real DBU?

It’s obvious that Oklahoma is playing the humble 4-seed approach in the media. Talk up the opponent, keep quiet, etc. I’m just not sure it matters what approach they take into this game. This LSU team is just so damn good.

Guarantee they’ll move him to the slot and try to take advantage of Vincent.

Lamb's going to be a hell of a pro wideout.

Lamb is a great player himself. Gonna be a great match up. He would have a ton of catches in our offense

Until he lines up against Kris

Ceedee is by far their best player. Kid is so much like Michael Thomas

OU seems very focused and has a bit of a chip
on their shoulder. Hope LSU can match that intensity and focus. If so, we will be ok.

Just gets very nerve racking when team A hears nothing but positives and accolades while team B is given no chance.

Geaux Tigers!!!!

I see he also said he wanted to play for LSU, now he's playing against them. How did we miss him in recruiting? He's from Op

We didn't miss him in recruiting. We were in it for him, but if I remember correctly he really kind of focused in on OU and Alabama. Just glad he chose OU instead of Bama. Kid is a freak WR and will be an awesome pro.

It rarely pays off to poke the bear. He's smart to shower his competition with compliments. Let's hope our DB's don't fall into the trap of thinking that means he is friendly...

That was kind of how I remembered it, but I only passively follow recruiting. LSU made him an offer, but he wasn't interesting. So not sure what he has to "prove" since he had no interest in playing for LSU when he was checking out colleges

It's just nice to see elite talent recognize elite talent and not shite on everyone like Jalen Ramsay.
