Freak the first quarter and the last few minutes of the game lol. It’s a shame Cecil had that type of game only to lose at the end line that.

Let's not get carried away.
H. Walker, Bo Jackson and even L. Fournette had a number of games that impressive.
Not to diminish his performance: it was very impressive, but we got to see very little of Diesel. But the potential was obviously there.
The ability to maintain that level of performance and stay on the team, seems to be the problem.

He was a better RB than Fournette. He had better vision and balance. Just a better football player. Fournette was a physical freak but lacked the vision and football intelligence of Collins.

Agree. I was at both the AU and the Georgia games. Cecil looked different than any other RB I've ever seen in person. He was incredible.

It’s hard to say because we had such a small sample size. His combination of size, speed and agility was Bo Jackson level but could he have done it for an entire season? After teams had some game film on him and knew who he was? I think yes but we will never know. First he broke his leg, then he got kicked off the team. He obviously was impressive enough for Jimmy Johnson to use a draft pick on him after all that.
