One of the most over hyped player to ever wear P&G. He had 4 games against 3 scrubs and auburn.
People act like he didn't get a shot after lsu. He wasn't good in the nfl.

Dude was flat out a natural RB, had just enough shift, plenty of speed and power and good vision. He would have been better in long term than Fournette

Cecil nfl career was shite compared to LF. It's like you actually believe CC didn't play in the nfl.

To this day though, I haven’t seen a better combo of speed, agility, and power on the college level running back and I’ve seen a lot.

So you didn't see bo jackson, herschel walker, lf, Ron dayne, Eddie George, derrick henry or about a dozen other rbs?

And that was when MSU and Auburn and even Vandy had pretty stout defenses.

Mississippi State and vandy stout defenses huh?
Between them they won 7 conf games. In 97.

We are not talking about career accomplishments.

We are focused on physical talent at RB which Cecil was very gifted--life choices not so much.

He was 207lbs and ran a 4.51.

Lf ran that at 240lbs

Yeah except people act like he never got a shot in the nfl. He did. He wasn't good

Its good comedy entertainment during the off season.
Like an old worthless hunting dog. Once it dies, according to the old hunters, Old Blue seems to get better every season.
In another ten years, Cecil will have been cheated out of the Heisman.

This is true.
Coaches weren’t equipped to deal with him, and didn’t do enough - just kept him on the field.
LSU had no idea his emotional issues were as bad as they were - until it was too late.

True.... people saying never saw the combination of power and speed. He wasn't big or really fast. I saw every carry he had at lsu... he had a good 4 game stretch against 3 scrubs and auburn. People really talking up 97 Mississippi State and vandy to tout this guy.

Lf was a great college back I think Collins had the talent to be better. Not worried about what they weighed and LF actually looks like he needs to shed a few tbh.

Based on what? 2 of cecils WOW games would've been considered normal games for lf

His football skills were incomparable

His moral compass was sorely lacking

if only there was a professional league where one could display this raw physical talent so that we could judge their ability appropriately, alas.
