They didn't have many options.

Arkansas @ Ole Miss
Auburn @ LSU
Tennesee @ Bama

They could have picked Vols/Gumps. Considering it might be the last time they meet in the regular season for awhile.

something needs to be done about these TV contracts. every school should get one veto each year so they can move a big matchup to a night game if they so choose.

Fans don't like it but it is good for the profile of the program.

yeah, empty seats and a quiet crowd do wonders for national image. especially for recruits at the game and watching on TV.

we are losing a Tiger Stadium tradition with all this shite. you can tell by the enthusiasm and involvement of the crowd that nobody likes constant day games.

You can have both. You don't have to sacrifice one for the other, it is not an absolute "if then" scenario.

They like the fact that we're #1 and the prospects for committing to that type of program more than they care about the crowd lacking Saturday. Our footprint is growing and that's a good thing. I love night games, but this is what happens when you're top ranked.

You pretty much do under the current SEC/CBS contract.

Maybe the next one(I think this one expires in 2018), will change things up a bit.

All I can say is that as a long time season ticket holder this is truly disappointing. I mean, what else can we say....a total bummer for all LSU fans.

LSU Football:

You know you have it good when all you can complain about is the kickoff time of a football game.
