I know we get a few day games a year in Tiger Stadium because of the CBS 230 slot. I know CBS only gets a certain number of SEC night games a year. Does anyone know how many or how they select them? I tried searching but couldn't find anything...

They get one per season. I'd expect it to be LSU at OM, especially if Bama loses to UGA.

I believe CBS gets one date for a day-night doubleheader. They had to choose the week to do it before the season, and chose the week we play Bama. They'll probably take our game against Ole Miss, but that should be 2:30.

I thought I saw somewhere they changed it to 2? Within the past couple of years.. Might have made that up tho.

CBS picked November 7th for their primetime game. That's the LSU-Bama weekend. Again.

Ole Miss will be at 2:30.

This. If Ole Miss and LSU are undefeated when they play then CBS may try to work out something with ESPN and both schools like in 2011 to get another CBS night game. I doubt it though.

They do 2 doubleheaders -- the other one is like 11 & 2:30 though as opposed to the 2:30 & 7.

Correct, but one of those two is the Saturday after Thanksgiving that features the Iron Bowl, with the Iron Bowl being the 2:30 late kickoff.

ETA: Well looks like CBS changed that. Oh well, downvote away.

False. The 2:30/7 doubleheader is 11/7 and the 11/2:30 doubleheader is on 11/17.

Wrong. I believe only LSU vs. Bama, LSU vs. Fla, and Bama vs. Fla are the only night games broadcast by CBS since they have received the extra night game.

I've read that LSU only has to move 1 home game a year to 2:30 for CBS, but can move more if asked. There is a limit to the number of times CBS can televise a school, and both home and away games count to that limit. I don't remember if that limit is 3 or 4.

I think the CBS limit is 5. LSU and Alabama I think reached that before in national title years.
