Isn't Cauble and Miles tight? I thought they were buddy buddy. Apparently Mike has had enough...

Cauble nailed it! Very well said.

You can say it's the players all you want but when your RT is getting beat like a drum and you don't even attemp a screen to slow down the rush you're a dumb arse for a coach. They just pinned their ears back and came at us all night.
We ran the ball very well with Hill but what did we do we decided to start passing the ball when we should have been running. Then the sets we get in everyone knows what we are gonna do. The whole offensive scheme just doesn't make sense.

If Mett should be in the Gun, why doesn't the QB coach, Krag, make it happen? Stud is a damn lineman!

Something like "Their idea of a trick play is a play action pass."
He actually said it in a "pregame" press conference and in context he meant it as a compliment. He was alluding to the fact that LSU is such a physical and talented team that they don't need to do anything fancy to beat you.

Yeah, It was extremely frustrating. Particularly when you know nothing is going to change.

I forget which game on CBS, Miles ran Met on a option (short side of the field no less) and Gary Danielson was speechless. Met nearly had his head taken off as well. I screamed at the TV, "you are a stupid, stupid man!!!! Certainly not worthy off the kind of money we pay him.

If that's the game I am thinking of, Danielson said something before the play, kind of joking about it and then it happened.

And while I'm at it...frick Cauble. Dec. 30th he spoke glowingly about CLM and the LSU football team and program...and then two days later we suck? frick that two faced clueless bastard!

Regardless of what he's said before, he's right on.

Agree, and I'd like to know the details of the raise and extension he is getting for acting like he was interested in Ark.

If that's what he meant, he was dead wrong.

Cauble is a huge and passionate LSU fan, he works for the media so you don't really see it, but he cares a lot, glad to see him make a point the majority of us agree with

I'm still in shock that you have an big play receiver like Randle, 6'3" and all who specialized in catching bombs last season and you don't go to him one time in the Alabama NC game.
I just don't understand? I swear.
Posted on 1/2/13 at 10:38 pm to Jay Ming
only problem is nothing will really change.

Nope. Once he mentioned Bama, it was off.
Another dramatic reaction. One or two plays here or there and it is a win.
Can you give Clemson just a bit of credit? Their QB was freakin spot on after being pounded on down after down.
I am ok with a change in OC. Why? Cause I don't think the present one has a real feel for the game. Play calling sequence has no flow and the timing of certain play calls just don't make sense.
Can we do it without all the media drama? We look like Dance Moms, Football edition.

Which is the random factor I mentioned earlier. Looks like the staff are just drawing plays out of a hat and going with it.
