After Bama's first play in overtime, where they use a creative formation, get the ball to the 2 yard line. A late hit penalty by a Bama lineman, after the play was dead, results in a 15 yard penalty, moving the ball back to the 17. Why is this not 1st and goal from the 17, instead of 1st and 10. ...

The shear arrogance of this coach to run at 8 in the box regardless. This game was lost in the first two offensive series by LSU. I forget which game on CBS, Miles ran Met on a option (short side of the field no less) and Gary Danielson was speechless. Met nearly had his head taken off as well. I screamed at the TV, "you are a stupid, stupid man!!!! Certainly not worthy off the kind of money we pay him....

Makes sense. A young coach on the way up has the perfect opportunity to work for Miles (Mr. Predictable)and end his career. I would not want to be blamed for LSU's play calling, however....
