Those are not really carving knives. They're modelling clay tools.

I'm using a scroll saw and a Dremel and I don't know wtf I'm doing.

ahhh...I have actually carved some duck decoys and used tupelo gum...

and I agree...it is a hell of a lot more difficult than it looks...if you remove too much material in any spot, the piece is trash....
