Only haters can use his interim to bash him for no Miles recruits being taken in the first round of the NFL draft. Other than for blaming purposes the IHC is not allowed on this board.
This is just a general statement Ree, not directed at you in particular.
I find it hilarious that the other side of the argument says the opposite and that only supporters are allowed to use the interim in their arguements.
In truth, Orgeron did some things he deserves credit for and some things he should be criticized for even though I know I've argued before that interim doesn't count in the big picture.

yea, give me the guy who made LSU's record vs Sun Belt teams go from 35-0 to 35-1.
And with that he still finished with a better record and bowl game than Loverboy.

that 7-6 record dropped Hermans career record as a head coach to 29-10 :(
Ed Orgeron's 9-4 record improved his career record as a head coach to 20-29 (the interim tag was taken off for the 2016 bowl game). If you include the two interim records, that gets him to 31-33.

I don’t care about the draft but from a player development aspect neither player got the development/stats or structure ( Key ) they needed to maximize their potential. So whomever was in charge of that player being at there best this past season should take some blame. Period. Seriously? The Key situation may have been handled exactly as it should have been for LSU and Arden. Arden Key Finished career with 130 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, 21 sacks and 28 quarterback hurries ... The 21 sacks tie with Gabe Northern for third place in LSU history ... Set the LSU single-season sack record in 2016 with 12 sacks ... Two-time first team All-SEC selection as well as being a Freshman All-American in 2015. Sounds like Eaux did a great job of developing Arden Key. What was he supposed to do with Guice? Attend the NFL team interviews with him. Then go to the press interviews and review each question and tell Guice how to answer?
You completely proved my statement in regards to Key. As a player Key was headed in direction to be one of the best players ever to come through LSU. He peaked early on and off the field and only got worse with O overseeing the program. I’m saying both Guice and Key ended up getting drafted lower than their projections a year ago and still left for the draft as juniors instead of staying for another year. I’m not bashing O, I hope he does well cause I’m a LSU fan through and through. I just think it’s redundant and rediculous for people to continually defend an under qualified coach. It’s his responsibility to provide results that defend himself, not the fan base. He has that opportunity this year and no one wishes better for him than me.

Ree says that he's not responsible for the program during his interim time so in my mind he shouldn't get credited with the wins. That makes him 20-29.

You mean our lowest ranked recruiting class since the 90s?
Luckily for O (and baker mayfield) draft grades and picks are made based on college performance not high school.
Dumbass

And took a long enough break from kissing him male players to tell LSU to go frick themselves.

Ha Ha Ha Ha !!!!
So did these guys:
Seven sophomores to watch on SEC defenses
1. Andraez Williams | Cornerback | LSU
3. Eric Monroe | Safety | LSU
4. Kary Vincent | Cornerback | LSU
6. Grant Delpit | Safety | LSU

does Les Miles get credit for them not leaving?
He should, considering you and SpaceClownboy are still blaming losses on Miles.

really?
::Sighs::
ok, because its my lunch break, I'll entertain this:
RG Saahdiq Charles
FS Grant Delpit
OG Ed Ingram
DE Justin Thomas
CB Greedy Williams
those are the only 5 freshman, true or redshirt, who "had" to play in 2017, thrust into starting roles as a result of attrition, suspension, injury, or anything I left off.
putting out an APB for Lester Earl.

Just like it was O’s fault Donta gave up the walk off TD against Notre Dame

There were 8 true freshmen who started in 2017. There were four RS freshmen who started in 2017.
Eat your lunch. Your research sucks.

Making sure we don't blame O for this class, and Ree's misguided attrition thread are just supporters building the "Rebuild" case stronger to buy O as much time as they can.
This is why excuses, selective data and hypocrisy run rampant.
To them O deserves a shot, regardless of the reasoning, and tearing down the past is the only way to make sure he gets it. O will have 4 years of faultless operation in their eyes for sure. Any deviation from that, O being responsible for anything, will reduce the opportunity of that happening, because O is actually on a razor thin line of critique because of his past. They know the razor thin line, that's why there's an O defense thread or anti-Miles thread every day. Stay on the line, absolve O of any blame, and prop up the future.
It almost seems like a controlled narrative to support O because Ree, Cowboy and a few others have remarkably similar and equally hypocritical viewpoints.
