Just don't understand the uproar over less than a quarters worth of work in a spring game operating a brand new offense that isn't showing anything. It's like ppl don't realize when you're running basic shite against elite talent running the best DC in the countries defense that the defense has all the leverage and should be making plays.

Im not saying Cam is a good HC or OC. But his qb coaching pedigree is better than Larry Fedora. Which is what i said.

Like i said in another thread. 3 hours ago we had one of the best OCs in cfb and now after a glorified practice we have posters questioning his philosophy. Its mind blowimg.

You're preaching to the choir man, I understand where you're coming from. However, it wouldn't be the rant without a bunch of people bitching and over reacting to something as trivial as a game that is nothing more than a glorified practice.

Its a spring game for Christ's sake. Our defense is one of the best in the country without question, on top of that, they have seen our offense this entire spring. An offense that has had only a few weeks to implement an entirely new scheme with some new starters that have to gel together as a unit. That takes more than a few weeks to accomplish. Of course the defense has the upper hand in a spring game. Some people are just dumb and need something to bitch about, that's all it is.

Pretty much what I wanted to see from the offense I saw. We were efficient getting plays in lining up no false starts plays were off quickly we were organized, we didn't have any trouble with all the new shifts and motions. That's all I wanted to see from the offense, we didn't run anything why would we? Only thing I wanted to see and didn't because of the cancelation was some of our depth.

Exactly. Most of these posters on the tiger rant have never played a down of organized football in their lives but have it all figured out. If you've played football you and been through spring practice you would know that spring practice/spring games are not a good barometer of how good or bad you're team will be, it's just not. Let's just go ahead and give the national title to the team that has the "best" spring game. Holy shite, the stupidity on this board is amazing sometimes.

There's a group of fans here that have been screaming for Etlings head since last season. Those monkeys have been itching for any reason to do this. They've tried to find reasons for any other QB to start. Now it's Brennan (who won't even play this year). It was McMillan for awhile but I guess since he looked bad tday in such an important game that narrative has died down lol.

Yup. Hell, we had trouble getting set in static I-formations for the last several years.
Seeing all that pre-snap motion and tempo with little problem should be promising to our fans.

Its been 14 practices. Shitting on Etling when he has had 14 practices to learn a new scheme is beyond retarded. Shitting on Coach Canada's philosophy after 14 practices is beyond retarded.

It really was impressive to me, we didn't have a single mess up with the motions and shifts and plays were off quickly not scrambling to beat the play clock with basic stuff. I think any football savvy fan has to be excited about the way things looked and where we are headed offensively. Now the schedule is murder and it's the SEC so I'm not gonna sit here and proclaim we are going undefeated but there's definitely cause to be excited.
