We like to dump (and deservedly so) on Schnall but that’s a tremendous accomplishment in his first season. If you find yourself in the semi’s, you’re a really good club. Then reaching the finals is a just a great feat.

Baseball America chose Skip coach of the year once by himself and split once.
They picked Skip coach of the year 1.5 times.
Probably the greatest coach of all time, 5 time ncaa champ, coach of the year1.5 times.
Maybe they don’t know s&!t! Maybe Glenn Gilbeau picks the winner for Baseball America
Hell Angie Garrido and Ray Tanner had as many/more wins

). Jay also swept the guy who had a 26 game win streak who lost to LSU in the finals twice. Still gets COTY by Baseball America. My arguement is that i felt like their is some animosity toward LSU by BA. On no planet where the accomplishments even come close in comparison. It's just media outlets trying to grow the game. It's good for the sport to have programs like CC caring about baseball. Giving this to Jay every year won't make any difference in bringing in more LSU fans but it might help raise more awareness to CC baseball. Everything isn't about hating or loving LSU
