I truly believe that Kiffin will be the next OC. He only makes 1M and has a $500K buyout. He has been trolling the SEC, and loves to feel relevant. In addition, CEOs recent comments regarding a pro set.
I prefer Canada, but what are the board's thoughts?

I highly doubt he’s going to leave the HC job he has, which he chose over our OC job, and where he has been pretty successful this year.

You’re truly misguided in your thought.

It would make sense if his primary motivation was money now, because LSU could probably pay him close to $2 million. But knowing that he already turned us down to be HC of FA, and because he ultimately wants another P5 head coaching gig, I'd say it's pretty unlikely.

Kiffin didn't take the OC job in the first place because he wanted a HC job.

Just face it. The writing is on the wall.
Canada will be out soon and Ensminger will be the OC.

No way. He stays at FAU for a couple more years, then takes a major HC gig.

The beauty of the up vote arrow is that you can anonymously click it, and nobody would know you are truly a retard.

Guess you decided you wanted to be open and honest about your stupidity.

If that happens, I will be on board...

but I don't think it happens because Kiffin is HC elsewhere...

No matter what O said at that press conference, Ensminger will not be the OC when LSU takes the field against Miami next year. At absolute max, Ensminger will be the interim OC for the bowl game if Canada were to leave in the next few weeks. I'm 99% sure that's what O meant when he threw out Ensminger's name anyway.

I also don't think it's guaranteed Canada finds an HC job to his liking this go around. Obviously he'd have taken the Rice job if they'd offered it, but if all he can get is an FCS job or something, he might stay.
