LSU is zeroing in on Pittsburgh's Matt Canada as its next offensive coordinator and an agreement could be reached as early as Tuesday, two sources with knowledge of the situation told NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune on Monday night.

Canada has emerged as the leading candidate and is scheduled to meet Tuesday with first-year coach Ed Orgeron and the rest of the staff.

They missed each other by a year. Canada was there for 2012 and Aranda came on in 2013.

He's a solid hire. Not a home run, but definitely a major improvement.

This was the exact same headline during the LSU-A&M game about Herman. I'm calling bullshite. Won't believe until it happens.

shite, in comparison to the last decade of subpar OCs, he's pretty close to a homerun.

It's interesting watching this team and its leaders make mistake after mistake. LSU needs a guy who can run a dynamic, modern offense that utilizes the talent we always have and can develop QBs. Gonna hire fricking Canada. Jesus Christ.

Power spread is what they call it. And the guy a couple posts above me acts like Canada can't adapt. The dude changes philosophies IN GAME. Canada is a slam dunk hire for OC in my opinion. Way better than Kiffin.
