Asked about his scheme in the SEC, Canada shot back, “Well, I'm 1-0 at Alabama. Northern Illinois. We beat Alabama in 2003, so, I guess I'll go with that. Huh?”

Regardless of the outcome, I'm expecting Matt Canada to be in rare form. He understands that this is the reason ge was hired. Despite some of the personnel issues that we've battled, I think he could make this a game. Canada is one of the most fluid, adaptive, out-side-the-box, offensive minds in CFB. Regardless of the outcome, Im expecting a show.

At the end of the day, this game may come down to LSU's defense. Holding bama's O for 4 qtrs may prove to be the biggest challenge. Half time adjustments will be key. Here's to hoping Canada is 2-0 vs Bama on Sunday morning! Geaux Tigers!

Etling needs to be mentally tough. If he tries to be physically tough we will see Brennan. The team needs execution and intensity!
And a couple of bounces our way created from that.
Go Tigers!

Why not be in rare form vs Miss. St. and Troy?

People are trying to believe anything.
After 6 loses in a row, they're desperate.
The fact that they haven’t shown they can put teams away and the inconsistencies on offense, it proves to be a tall task Saturday.
I want to believe Canada has something else he hasn’t shown, the Oline is going to pass block all of sudden and we’re actually going to complete passes to the WR consistentl, but I don’t.

Here’s to plenty of booze Saturday and an upset

So you're telling me he's due, huh?

Every LSU coach has won at Bryant-Denny since we started playing the series there every other year. Time for O to join the group.

if bama can stop our horizontal stretch plays without bringing up safeties on the outside we could be in big trouble. If they play cover 2 we must dink and dunk them to death to which we have not shown we can do yet other than swing passes. if they play up we then had best have a consistent intermediate passing game and maybe hit dome deep shots over the top as well or it will be a long day. hopefully we can spread them horizontally and vertically so we can have a run game even between the tackles to keep them honest on the outside and down the middle.

if we do not stop their between tackles runs the game is over right then and there. we also need to slow their horizontal pass game which they are good at. make hurts beat us with their 3rd option. vertical passes. mix up blitzes and contain schemes so he does not destroy us with his feet. If we stop their first two options and they beat us with a vertical pass game i can live with that. If we get torched by loading the box playing their inside runs forst i can live with that also. that is the one damn thing we must sellout on because if they get that going we won't have a prayer in second half and will wear down.

No he won't put up any points because he's not playing. As for noodle arm Etling he also may not put up any points either.

He was 0 for Auburn and 0 for Florida too. Tigers and the points. They may lose , but it will be 10 or less and they score at least 2 TDs

There in is the challenge, given our personnel.

This game WILL come down to LSU's defense, not turning the ball over, and stopping the run.
