Don't worry, there are a bunch of entrepreneurs selling beers out of ice chests on Poydras for decent prices.

For tomorrow or for Monday? If for Monday, why even waste your time, they aren't showing the game.

ETA: Unless you have a ticket, in which case, why would you spend 4 hours sitting outside a stadium?

You can sneak it in (depending how anal security is), but you are not allowed to bring in any ice chests. If they are checking folks as they enter, one option is to leave your stash in the parking garage and make a quick trip every so often for a round. Save lots of $$$$ over the course of a day.

Don't shoot the messenger, but I heard on WWL yesterday that because the police were stretched so thin with so many events and ppl in town that champions square wouldn't be open for the game. Now I only heard that one time when I was listening, so maybe someone screwed up with that report. But I would definitely check it out, because I sure did hear that yesterday morning on WWL.

Champions Square will be open but they will not be showing the game due to crowd control issues. You have 70,000 people trying to get into the dome and another several thousand just standing in the way waiting to watch the game outside? Doesn't sound like a very good idea to me.

No. No backpacks either. And as everybody already knows they will not be showing either game this weekend. Sucks.

It's $5 for Saints game but will be $8.50 for the title game. I was in the square yesterday and saw the budweiser guys change the $8.50 signs from the Sugar Bowl back to $5 signs for today's game. I asked him about Monday and he said going back up to $8.50.

The parking garage is a solid idea, but I think security is gonna be pretty tight so I'd be careful trying to even get an ice chest in there.
