Totally off topic and stupid as usual. I didn't call anyone a name until you put words in my mouth and insulted me. None of my post were sarcastic and I don't insult anyone els, you're a liar. But that's what chicken shits like you do you start shite then when are wrong play the victim. If you don't believe LSU is the top baseball program in the country over the past 25+ years you're an idiot we have more than double the next closest program over that time in championships only Alabama in football even compares. Btw I probly have children your age and I unlike you actually support LSU financially. I know context and English are tough for you but try reading the thread history before making ignorant accusations.

It's infuriating and makes zero sense
Why the heck not?? In case you missed it Miles struggled MIGHTILY over the last 9 years with the exception of 2011/ and that year ended with the mother of all struggles and catastrophic failure. .

No they haven't been the unanimous top program for the last 25 years. That's retarded. This isn't the nineties anymore. Other school care about baseball and spend a lot more money on it than they used to. This has been discussed an ungodly amount of times. Follow along little one. Teams have just as much talent as LSU now.

There are about 3-4 programs in all of cfb with a better resume over the last 9 years.

In the last 9 full miles coached teams we had as many top 10 finishes as the previous 32 seasons before Miles was hired.
In the last 9 full miles coached teams have as many top 2 finishes as the previous 42 seasons before Miles was hired.

He inherited a program with 2 top 10 finishes from 1987-2004.

Yes but we had won 2 sec titles and a natty in 4 years before he arrived which made us the most successful SEC program during Sabans tenure. That's why I said borderline, we were at the top of the best conference and had stockpiled a lot of talent for Miles to inherit.

This comparison that CPM is on Miles level is absurd. And you of all people know I'm not a Miles guy.

Im not familiar enough with college baseball head coach landscape to know if there is a sure fire better coach that will actually leave his current program.

Thats why i wasn't worried about firing Miles. I knew there were far better game day coaches than Miles. But i didnt know that our clown ad would hire a coach that wasnt even getting DC offers and has the worst resume of any sec coach.

Yea I hear you and I love coach O but you're right about his SEC record. My hope is that he's learned a lot since Ole Miss, his record since at better places shows he's getting better, and if you really dig into the situation he inherited at Ole Miss you may have a little different vision of him. I think we have 2 elite coordinators and I think hell give them free reign. As far as replacing CPM there are guys out there who have elevated at a much better rate since he's been at LSU and like any sport there are always up and comers. Our problems in the athletic department go deeper than coaching Alleva and Alexander mostly are god awful and only care about butts in seats, they're not pro active and will always wait until our coaches are an eyelash away from being lynched by fans before they do anything.

No it doesn't, it's an excuse for people to hate Paul without presenting actual facts because in all reality their clueless about LSU baseball. I'm not a huge Paul fan as of late but I can give you reason for that, not just a lazy arse answer as "he's turning in to les Miles". That provides zero.

I gave you a little proof to your point and theirs.
I can and do see it both ways. He arguably took some of the recruits that Smoke had already secured and built on them to win quickly. That 2009 team was loaded with talent and he made them better with a great coaching job that post season.
It seems like he can't repeat the pulling of the right strings in games these last several years.

Remember 2009 and how he used Coleman? What about DJ getting that massive hit late in game 1 against UT. That was leaving him in as I recall.
Of course who would have thought he would have won the MLB Batting title last season.
