The Greek section didn't even fill up and half were gone by the start of the 2nd quarter.

This. I was pretty disappointed in the SS as well. I can understand leaving when the game is out of reach, but I saw ppl filing out when it was a 7 point game in the 2nd qtr. Props to those who stayed. Football isnt a social event. You only get 6-8 of these a year. So enjoy it.

I sit in the N endzone next to the band. With 6:00 left on Saturday there was almost no one left except for the students.

The student section is not judged against the rest of the stadium...it is judged against previous student sections...and this one has been very lame.

I definitely noticed lots of empty seats above the sideline on both sides of the field. Those aren't students leaving.

Lol. I think this is the exact feeling of 75% of the SS and is why Tiger Stadium has lost a step IMO. If we get up by 14 against South Carolina in the 3rd quarter are u gonna feel the need to head to serranos bc your not as drunk as you wanna be?! Haha. Our "new" fans crack me up

Most of you are to blame. The stadium isn't loud anymore like it use to be 6 years ago. Most of the older people treat it like they are watching MASH on television trying not to make to much noise and feel as comfortable as ever.

That is stupid. South Carolina by 14 and Idaho by 40 are completely different circumstances.

i was surprised so many people came to the game to begin with much less stayed so far into the third quarter
