Can we not bash Les Miles until the season starts?

i've done my share, but it needs a break. And if you didn't complain months ago, no need to in the summertime.

I generally agree. There will be plenty of time to praise or bash Miles once the season starts.
However when people start projecting wins/losses with our schedule then the people that have lost faith in Miles will point to some of his bad traits displayed in recent years as a reason to be less than optimistic.

Well, for me, the season begins when the football magazines start to come out, and I've seen fans writing about the issues that are out, so praising or bashing is "in season."
If LSU is not ranked in some magazine's pre-season poll, is that bashing Miles?

no LSUfan they never get tired of bashing him and pointing out all of his mistakes they cant even give him credit for the positive things he has done I just hope the players and coaches have seen all of this and they use it for motivation for the upcoming season and roll over everybody they play I want to see what they have to say then

I am not happy where the current state of the program is in. However, preseason magazines are simply guesses. LSU was highly ranked the past 2 preseasons and we all know how that ended.
Nothing is going to change between now and the beginning of the season. Miles will not be fired before the start of 2010 unless he does some off field criminal/scandalous acts.
The admin understand a lot of fans are not happy with Miles and if he screws around again this year I think he is gone. Conversely, if he wins the West he proves he should be here.
I personally think this year will be another disappointment but I hope he proves me wrong.

Yes, that makes perfect sense. No discussion of football until football season starts. No discussion of basketball until basketball season starts. No discussion of baseball when it's not baseball season. So, should Chicken just shut the site down in the summer?
