I'll be honest, I trust Woodward, but it would not surprise me in the least if Tate tries to strong arm a diversity hire. There were rumors that's how Jones got the DC position. If this happens, then LSU truly is lost and is beyond saving.

It may be possible someone was pushing a diversity hire there, as some said it was Woodward doing so. However, it wouldn't have been Tate as he wasn't even selected as the new president at the time Jones was hired. Now it certainly could have been a BOS position doing it. I haven't been in the basketball ops facility this year; but I don't think there was even a pic of Wade in the men's gym and I haven't seen one of Tate in any of the social media pics from their practices. Mural has been of former players.

I didn't say that it was Tate. My bet would be Collis Temple or James "Ear Ring" Williams. I just meant that we can expect more of this in the future under Tate.
