You Sabanistas just need to pull for Alabama. Life is too short to trash your own team in favor of a former coach who bailed for more money.

Since when is losing to the two best teams in the country a sign that the LSU football program has become mediocre or approaching any state remotely comparable to the LSU teams of the 90's?

Please read the first part to this thread. I have no problem that we lost to two "elite" teams and coaches. But if we lose again, see theres the word "again" to a La tech, ole piss, or arky team, that is unacceptable

10-2 would be one hell of a year. I dont doubt that. I don't think LSU had the experience to beat the Florida and Alabama type teams this year. After saying that, 10-2 is all anyone could ask for before the season started. Maybe if JJ and the offense had come out like gangbusters, we could have gone 11-1. However, Im still saying 9-3 and thats not bad for this year. I think next year things come together and LSU and Alabama will be the top 2 teams in the SEC.

Like you have any control over it.
Do you have some position of authority at LSU?

Your saban argument is fricking retarded.
He went UNDEFEATED through the SEC last year with far less talent than LSU and beat LSU.
He should of beat LSU the year before but thanks to a miracle fumble at the end of the game by JPW LSU barely pulled it out with twice as much talent than ALABAMA.
His defense is top in the country year in and year out.

well if we shouldnt count the fumble that year, then maybe we shouldnt count a couple interceptions last year, or maybe we shouldnt count this year because of freak injuries to our starting QB, RB, and TE. Or maybe we should say that we DID get that interception and we won the game this year

I love when people play "if this hadnt happened" to make their arguments. It DID happen. and whether Wilson fumbles that ball or not, its still a sack on 3rd down, we get the ball, and we had been moving it on them all second half, so i think we score again.

but why play if? we won the game... and they lost to ULM

Wow...how many other D-1 teams would love to trade for our record? Notre Dame? Michigan? Fla. State? Stop the insanity.

So Les took over a program that was 30-9 the previous 3 seasons. Saban took over a program that was 16-18 the previous 3 seasons.

Neither Ole Miss nor Arkansas are cupcake teams. shite, Florida should've lost to Arky by 16 points—at the Swamp. Ole Miss has a RB who's almost as much a one-man wrecking crew as Ingram, plus a pretty decent defense. Where do we get the idea these are Div III teams?

i know. thats really cool.

only thing is, i am not saying saban is not elite. the other guy apparently is though. unless we are supposed to just ignore his argument as to why Les Miles is not elite.

The fact is LSU went cheap and hired and average coach from an average team with an average record and it looks like ok. state has improved since he left
