Yea, we should have went all out for Hugh Freeze as OC. I would have felt like we'd have a chance next year against Bama. We went from a 1970's offense under Miles to a late 80's offense under Ensminger.

pass blocking is key.
And what great pass blocking OL's do we have on the current team? (Or have coming in that have extensive pass blocking experience at their respective high schools?)

I know and all those that are "honest with themselves" know the answer to that.

Can Cregg overcome the Miles-Grimes "Square Peg/Round Hole" OL recruiting of the past 5 years and teach "Road Graders" that are better at run blocking how to effectively pass block on a consistent basis? (I haven't seen any evidence as of yet that he can)

I agree with you but I also would say the OL abused the Bama DL. Example. #92 was killing LSU against a max protection blocking scheme. Tonight I didn’t even know #92 was playing in the game. They couldn’t smell the Clemson QB much less pressure him consistently. Clemson abused Bama in the trenches all night on both sides of the ball.
