nah....far too small to have any kind of durability....teams wouldn't risk any money on him...

Trindon Holliday : making people's ideas of him wrong since age 5......I will add that Darren Sproles showed a TON of power against Pittsburg, 15 yards on 11 carries. He also blocked great!!!
keep doubting trindon, because everyone said he couldn't play at LSU either.

quote:way faster than Green ,for sure, but not a better returner, Green knew how to run, you know, make moves, Trindon is more straight ahead speed runner.
he's a better returner than skyler green ang green is in the league (Saints).

Trindon is a track star...not a football player

Dude, it's about making yardage, not a contest to see who's the tallest.
I may be mistaken, but I thought Trindon played football in HS, and played very well.
He has real football skills. He has moves, and isn't just a straight line runner. He takes hits well, and protects the ball. He catches well, and runs great in space. I think he will be drafted, though very low. I would not be surprised if he stuck with someone.
If Scott enters the draft as rumored, Trindon will get more carries, and we'll see who's a football player.

TH will not play in the NFL. He doesn't ever get the ball on offense any more. WTHF

you see how Fla uses Raines and Demps with misdirection handoffs from Tebow in the spread, that is exactly what Crowton, the so called wizard, should be doing with Trindon.

I want to say no, but because of Sproles, I say yes.

I think he can. He's too small to run track.

Reminds me of Darren Sproles. TH is faster though.
Sproles has better vision and runs with a low center of gravity. TH is hampered by the fact that he has never really carried the load and most of his runs are attempts to get him in space. Sproles was a workhorse for Kansas St. back in the day, that really helped him in his transition to the NFL.

he'd have to put on some major weight

he won't make it in track because he has long strides
Trindon is most certainly not a long strider.
Usain Bolt has a long stride.

Football - the only way he makes it is if a team dedicates one roster spot to JUST a Return guy. Kind of like Michael Lewis with the Saints (who was probably cut because he didn't develop as a WR).
Track - while he has posted world class times, the length of his stride prevents him from improving a great deal. Can only move those short little legs so fast. He can make a nice living on the Indoor circuit in some of the shorter races, but he won't ever be a Top 10 100 meter man.

I almost feel bad for trindon, and feel that he gets disrespected by many LSU fans when they say he's not a football player. Ive been watching the guy play since high school, and he is a football player. Sure he's small, even smaller than sproles, but he has time to put on weight. I've always thought we should let him run between the tackles, and if you really watch him run, he's not that easy to bring down... He doesn't shy away from contact, obviously has the break away speed, and has been a football player for quite some time... it's not like LSU saw the guy running track and offered him a full ride... We offered him because we saw what he can do on the gridiron... He does need to work on getting to the next level before putting moves on defenders, but that is a coachable skill and i believe he will improve...
IMO, i think he will get drafted and will play in the NFL

Last i checked, he DOES play in college, and he is stuck behind two pretty good RBs... Don't try to be a smartass, it just makes you look like an idiot

one solid collision in the nfl and he might get killed.
J/K someone will take a chance

He'll be given an opportunity as a returner mainly bc of the success of Sproles. Whether he sticks or not depends upon his performance obviously but I definitely think he'll be given a chance... probably as a late round pick or UDFA.
