I took the post referenced as #5 (rag arm, etc) as being an attempt at sarcasm. I don't think he was being serious. I got it lol:

simple finish top 3 in SEC, have a good RPI and hope to get a top 8 seed in the tourney then we should make it.

My mom special ordered it on dvd for me a few Christmas' ago. I still love this movie, but any JP scene when he is terrorizing Johnathan is hysterical.

Also, the majority of the people that try to comment on LSU baseball are like the guy that got knocked out.

This is a long season but this team is better than last year's for one reason, defense. We have it this year. Bregman is a beast, Ibarra is clutch, Laird is a guy that came LITERALLY out of LF, Katz is Katz, Rhymes gonna Raph, Ross is streaky, Jones is talented, and Nola Eades and Glenn could end up being one of the deadliest trio's in the NCAA this season.

I agree with pretty much all of this. Defense is better than last year, Ibarra is good at 3rd and makes some great plays, but sometimes seems to have that "oh shite" moment and lets an easy one get by him. Needs to sort that out. Other than that, infield looks good, outfield is fast. Hitting doesn't seem to be miles ahead of last year, but definitely better and more well rounded and that should be more than good enough. I really like what I've seen of Nola, Eades and Glenn, though I am a bit nervous about pitching in general. Glenn has been fabulous so far, but I'm just hoping he can keep that up. The other two will be good enough 9 games out of 10 to win you theirs. Relief pitching needs to iron out the kinks, but I also feel like I've seen some noticable improvement lately.

Only other thing I've got is that I feel our trip to Starkville will definitely show us where we are at. It doesn't mean that's where we will be at the end of the season, but it most certainly is a great early season barometer.

Given the strength of the SEC, if we can win the conference, Omaha is a lock. But winning at Hoover is going to be a huge challenge.

Actually if we win just one more game last year, we are in Omaha.

With Bonvillain moving to the pen now, I think he will immediately iron out some of those kinks. He can give us 2-3 innings solid innings out the pen per appearance.

I would pay close attention to the rotation of the bullpen this weekend. This weekend will likely be a mock of whats to come opening weekend for who is first out the pen and what not.

Way to early to tell. Pitching against weaker opponents and the lack of hitting against same says it's too early to tell.
