I think they're referring to the three incidents last year on gamedays that involved people with no connection to the university.

quote:

September 13, 2025Law Center Gunfire: A fight broke out among a group of males near Highland Road and Veterans Drive by the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Multiple shots were fired, striking a vehicle's windshield. No injuries were reported.Unidentified: While two individuals were initially detained on-site, campus police later determined neither was the active shooter.

quote:

October 11, 2025 (7:10 p.m.)Accidental Self-Inflicted Shooting: An individual accidentally shot himself in the thigh while adjusting a loaded .45 caliber handgun in his pants pocket on South Stadium Drive.Lawrence Hubbard (18) was arrested after receiving hospital treatment and charged with illegal use of a weapon and carrying a firearm in a school zone.

quote:

October 11, 2025 (8:30 p.m.)Homecoming Double Shooting: Gunfire erupted during a physical brawl stemming from a prior dispute along Highland Road. An 18-year-old and a 19-year-old non-student were shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.Kyiveon Keller (16 at the time of the incident, later identified in court records as Cavon Keller). He was found guilty in juvenile court of two counts of attempted second-degree murder and illegal firearm possession.

These aren't drunk season ticket holding white people just having a good time. They're a bad element that shouldn't be on campus anyway. Busting people for weed is a good way to keep them away.

The BIG question is....are these fine young 'scholars' currently 'locked up' OR, has a libtard judge let them off already ? AND, if they are on the loose...just WHO is the judge responsible and WHY OH WHY does our local media not report on cases like this ??????

I think the steps they took late in the season after the shooting incident were absolutely and directly related to these shootings and when you can do it in the name of safety, which is absolutely legit in this case - I'm not sure it will matter if there are some hurt feelings - too bad it's for safety.

I can't remember if it was for one or two games at the end but I'm told it made a difference in helping to insure safety. They blocked off roads early and strategically and took some other measures I can't recall.

To be clear, I think the black fraternities are being punished also for something a bunch of non-LSU folks did. Hopefully all involved put their best foot forward and make it work. Not only will the police be out in full force, so will the cameras. If something happens, banishment may be as soon as Monday. Kids need to realize that.

There was a shooting caused by the unity field that got it shut down. These weren’t “kids” at lsu. You know who they were.

If what happened there was by frats on the parade grounds, it would be on every national media outlet in America.

Just watch it’ll end poorly and the admin will use it to shut down the parade grounds again. It’ll be used for corporate tailgates by the end of it. This will be an easy scape goat
