Can LSU's D allow less than 100 points in the reg season...couple of shutouts maybe??? Will not have the offensive fireworks to pull the starting D late in many games this year so probably not many garbage TD's for the other teams...I think we're 4 games in before someone scores 10 in a game..Thoughts??

If our offense does really well, then yes, the other team's offense won't be on the field too much for an opportunity to score. Is it a reciprocal situation.

Will they? The last time Georgia brought a highly ranked team to Baton Rouge, they scored 3. Still, I doubt we give up less than 100 points in 12 regular season games. 120 would be the better number to start with, but I don't think we'll do that either.

I doubt it because the offense and special teams will probably put them into bad field position situations more often than they have in the last few years.

Saturday the Tigers will shut out App St. They'll do the same to everyone this season. LSU will allow zero points in 2008. Mallory & Peveto will be named Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs by newly elected President Les Miles.

Not gonna happen. Not even close. We gave up 279 points last year.

I say its very possible. There will be alot of defensive games this year, especially in the SEC west division games, low scoring.

Our great '03 defense gave up 154 points, 11 points per game. No way we can hold teams under 10 per game.

But, I agree, it's pretty tough to give up less than 100 points in a season.

I'd say impossible. My only point about Georgia is that it's not a forgone conclusion that they will score 21+. Though obviously, they might.
