Guilty. Not because I'm salty...just because I think all the bumping and calling out is pointless. I never shite on this team and am happier than a puppy with two peters right now but the constant "what now, bitch!" is getting old. Comes across as insecure and petty. When did just cheering for the Tigers stop being enough? I'm sure some will just see this as a nega/LSU hate post and they can downvote it to death. Just my opinion.

You say that like Pap was tearing it up all year. This team deserved some of the criticism it got in the middle of the year. They were underachieving and at times playing bad baseball. They pushed the rock up hill and it started rolling down in BAMA series.

Honest question: what constitutes "shitting on the team?" Can a fan be disappointed on a case by case basis and not be "shitting" on them or does anything short of constant praise AND nega hating qualify?

I pay no mind to the "fire everyone" crowd. It's not worth it. The difference is they know they're being negative whereas the "what now bitch" crowd actually thinks they're righteously crusading for true fans...by being negative. They're no better than the people they call out, but they think they are, and I admit--that annoys me more than the negas.

Same thing in every sport. People will make extreme, definitive negative statements about coaches and players mid-season and even mid-game. Criticism of certain decisions and performances is fair and expected, but a lot of people on this board are incapable of doing it without turning into a nasty ad hominem attack about the coach or player.
