JJ was a Mile's creation. Les doesn't get a pass for JJ or JL. He fostered that situation.

That said, with Hill I can see us getting 21 a game and being able to control TOP. Without him, it will be diificult. The passing game alone is not going to yield 21 a game.

Les didn't recruit either of them to be starters. They were 3rd and 4th stringers after the '07 season. The fact LSU won so many games and an SEC championship with those two is a testament to Miles.

Once they became starters they got worse not better. QB development is not a strong suit of the LSU football program.

No, not if we aren't any better in the red zone than last year.

Apparently you have forgotten all about the '08 season. But they were never going to be more than average....no matter who the coach was.

Les style is as follows:

85-21

That's the only fricking style that matters to anyone with an IQ over 75.

I have to wonder bout the sanity of any "LSU fan" who watched the overall QB play at LSU during the 08, 09, 2010, and 2011 seasons and came to the conclusion that our QBs were worse in 2011 than they had been in 08, 09, or 2010.

2011 LSU QB play:

2200 yds...62% comp....21 TDs with 5 ints...QB rating of 148.

275 yds rushing....3 TDS

No need to list anything for the 3 seasons before cause we all know or should know 2011 was much improved and not worse.

That's a load of horseshite! Even without RP one of those guys was going to be the starter after Periloux graduated. Who else had Miles recruited?

Face it, Miles hasn't found a means to produce an effective offense since 2007. There is hope for this year but I will believe it when I see it.

Ms. Miles, you are consistent, if anything.

The offense certainly has the talent to score a minimum of 21 points in each game. The rest is up to coaching.

we have to score TDs in the redzone. Alleman tried 21 kicks from the 22 up which is 72% of his kicks(29). Not to mention we have had a few turnovers inside the redzone also.

FOR COMPARISION: (SEC kickers with at least 20 attempts)

Caleb Sturgis 18 inside 22 (64%)/ 28 FG att UF

Carey Spear 11 inside 22 (46%)/ 24 FG att Vandy

Andrew Baggett 11 inside 22 (55%)/ 20 FG att Mizzou

Devon Bell 14 inside 22 (66%)/ 21 FG att MSU

Bryson Rose 13 inside 22 (46%)/ 28 FG att Ole Miss

Taylor Bertolet 14 inside 22 (63%)/ 22 FG att. TAMU

bottom line. we left too many pernts on the field last yr. hopefully better OL health and more imaginative short yardage play calling will fix that.

I think the offense will need to score 4 TDs when we face the like of GA, Bama and TAMU.

4 TDs is tough, we'll need to be extra good on special teams (get good field position and make those FGs) to have a chance.

Nah, we need great qb play. We are due. LSU is so overdue for a baller at qb.

Personally I say preform your job at a high level or gtfo and let the goat handle this thing. Our offense is going to be absolutely dynamic and electrifying with all of the talent we have. We need a qb.

You're forgetting someone...the guy that took RPs place when he was dismissed
