Different voters. SEC sports writers on the one hand and the national coaches poll on the other. We will see the same thing with the national AP poll compared to the local SEC writers.

there were MULTIPLE bad calls in each of our last two trips ...

yes, those calls probably did change the outcome of the game and steal at least one win from LSU.

while it is wrong to blame the victim of a crime for being a victim, that doesn't mean that we can't learn from our mistake.

let's not put ourselves in a position to let a corrupt official steal the game from us.

For one thing not an upset with LSU's talent, but maybe a miracle if LSU can win the game with their officiating crew.

Burns might not even be the starter ...but he will get alot of playing time..

When LSU wins their first 3 games of the season before Auburn..and IF Auburn wins their first 3 games before LSU....LSU will still be ranked ahead of Auburn in the polls....so why would that be an upset if LSU won?

and like poster stated....this streak in this series has GOT to come to an end sometime...(I just hope it isn't this year )

Depends upon who is favored in "the fix." LSU would win on its own, but with such close competition, it only takes one or two referee "blown" calls in key positions on the field (holding on us on LSU 4 after TD run) or such.

I like how we are already making excuses before the game about the refs. I hope the AU fans and boosters have been saving money during the recession to pay the officails off. Gimme a break.

it has been tough.....but we still have some time to earn some more money before the big game .....we are having our own telethon labor day weekend to complete with Jerry Lewis for a last push to raise money this cause ...

i usually upset a few of their fans, for what its worth.

They yell "War Eagle" and I yell "Mike the Tiger" - they dont get it....and neither do I.

Typically they follow it up with, "that's stupid" with which i reply "thank you!"

WE will win and this won't be an upset. We will be favored and we will win.The refs will not be a deciding factor in this game.

Funny, that "THE U OF BAMA" doesn't get the calls in their own state. You would think that with the majority of the state pro Bama and all the alleged money that BAMA has, they would have something to say about how unfair the AU/BAMA series is, REFS call it for AU due to the fixed games in that state.

Maybe its just that AU is better than BAMA. Shocking isn't it. Play it on the field and see what happens, instead of bitching about it years later, we (LSU fans) are still complaining when we have 2 fricking national championships to AU none in the past 8 yrs and we still waste our time complaining about a blown PASS INT call in AU.

I hope we get over this soon. It infuriates me.
