or does he make it 4 in a row against the Tigers?

you've gotta think there will be at least a bit of a dropoff with Snead and McCluster gone

You will probably blow them out like the rest of the SEC will.

Had Nutt been hired at LSU, the recruiting floodgates would have opened.

0 recruits at Ole Miss
Can you imagine if Nutt had 0 recruits at LSU right now.

It's hard to see how Ole Miss wins. I'd be surprised if Miles didn't try to pour it on in this game. I'm sure he'd relish the opportunity to beat the Rebs by 4+ TDs.

They had a coach who wasn't a great coach but got a lot of really good recruits. They got rid of that guy and got a guy who is a pretty good coach but can't recruit worth a crap. The pretty good coach coaches the good recruits that were there and does pretty well with them. Problem is they leave and the coach who can't recruit, well, can't recruit.

I think Ole Miss may have a decent defense this year, especially the defensive line. Their WR's should be decent as well.

He's one coach I would love to run the score up on if they suck. He shows the pain on his face too which is fun to watch.

It's funny how many people on here degrade Nutt and say he is a horrible coach. Little do they know, Nutt owns Miles.

Houston Nutt is a freaking clown. LSU should have NEVER lost that game last year, Nutt just seems to have Miles' number the last few years. I can see LSU stomping OM this season.

I'd rather Miles on the LSU sidelines anyday. LSU wins in '10 on their way to another SEC West title.

geez.
Nutt's classes are better than any O brought. Sure Nutt has more to work with after winning seasons, but Nutt can recruit. He is a finisher. He isnt big on getting a lot of recruits early in the game, he does this every year and signs about 10 on signing day and finishing in the top 15-20. But the reason we will be down this coming year is because O couldnt recruit as well everyone thought. He would sign a lot of people early and have a top 10 ranking before the season started and then not sign anyone else and fall out of the top 25. O also didnt know how to recruit a team. He would leave several holes and not recruit a postion well for a couple years in a row. He had one class in the top 25, Nutt's already had two in three years and one class that was real close the the top 25

only way you beat OM by 4 td's is to shut them out. Not many teams will score 30+ on this D. FWIW I dont see us taking 3 in row, but will make my favorite away game.

people think just because one is wearing LSU on his shirt and the other Ole Miss, that the one in purple is better. Atleast Nutt lets his good players touch the fricking ball.

well the Rebs are gonna have a good D, anchored up front by Jerrell Powe

and they should still have a solid running game with Brandon Bolden and Enrique Davis

WTF ... since 2002, Nutt has had TWO classes in the top 20 according to Scout, both with OM.
2010 - 15th (Ole Miss)
2009 - 17th (Ole Miss)
2008 - 38th (Ole Miss), 24th (Arkansas) - not sure who to attribute this class to
2007 - 34th (Arkansas)
2006 - 30th (Arkansas)
2005 - 32nd (Arkansas)
2004 - 27th (Arkansas)
2003 - 23rd (Arkansas)
2002 - 24th (Arkansas)

Nutt uses yourself against you! Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense. He has a rare gift for making opponents shoot themselves in the foot.
