Kardell Thomas and Ed Ingram are going to be one of the best guard duos we’ve seen in a very long time. Remember Kardell Thomas almost started as a true freshman before his injury. Thomas, Hines, and Ingram are going to be the best inside o linemen in the SEC.

From everything I've seen KT is gonna have to fight like hell to take that job back from Bradford, great news is it's depth this year at OG and after Ingram leaves we will have Bradford\So, Thomas So, Hill RFr, Hines Sr, Martinez RFr\So, Evans\So, Turner\Jr plus whoever we bring in this year on the inside, Creggs really doing a really good job building quality depth at every o line spot

Lets let the coaches decide this. There are certain skill
sets that relate to the different O line positions, including which side of the ball. Many of the the best players possess skills to play many of these positions, like Pocic and Clapp recently.

We need to put the best combination on the field, whatever that might be. I'm glad we are finally getting some depth at O line where we can make these decisions instead of forcing someone to play out of position because of lack of depth, which we had to do far to many times in recent history.

Saw this as well. Not trying to play coach, just asking if there's anything keeping him from center if that's a way of getting your best players-combination on the field.

Yeah, I see what your getting at, I'm sure guys will be moved around to find the best 5,if Kardell isnt starting he's not in that group but Centers a lot more than blocking, somebody has to make the calls at the line and different position require different skills. Good news is if he isn't starting we have him, Wire, Savage, and I'm sure one of Doom, Martinez, or Hill(I think Hill will be a beast) as quality depth, most with experience, I'm very happy with the O line talent and depth Cregg is building, it takes 3-4 years, I think it's the hardest group to build quality depth at, we'll have a great class this year so he's right on track to building a top notch O line, he already won the Joe Moore award with what he had

The Joe Moore Award will pay dividends for several years in recruiting. IMHO it is the most important award that we received, with the NC being the exception.
