I remember the TV announcers comparing him to a young Bret Farve. He was thrown into action before he was ready. He has 3 years left to mature and become a good quarterback. Physically he has the tools. Mentally he has a lot to learn. It's a process.

Oh so it was troy who threw those long touchdowns to Lafell and co? It was troys defense that stopped troys 3rd down conversions? That game was a perfect example of half time adjustments. Too bad we didn't do it in some other games...

about the only thing smiliar between JL and Montana is skin color.

Any given team whipping another team for 3 quarters is considered a team whipping another team at the time of the turnaround. Whether it is Troy or Florida going into the 4th quarter. LSU was getting whipped until JL started making some great throws downfield and eating up some yardage in huge chunks. The defense responded with getting pressure on Troys QB causing some bad throws. Regardless of who it was, the turnaround by the Tigers was impressive and proved to be the greatest point deficit comeeback in LSU history.
