You're missing the point.
The point is, they're shitty as frick at developing QBs.
Hence, the odds that they developed the guy that they label "backup" better than they developed the other guy ain't real good. Especially when you look at their history and the fact BH isn't the first problem.

the back up does a few of the things that make our antiquated offense at least somewhat function. Brandon can't even get the balls in the hands of our playmakers consistently. Imagine being able to throw screens to Fournette or give it to Chark on a bubble route? frick I'd be happy if the guy could throw a slant. We could at least move the chains and keep the D off the field.

This x 1000. At least etling skillset somewhat fits the offense.
