I know this has to have been discussed already, but could you only imagine if we had Cam Cameron last year with guys like Minter, Reid, Mingo and Sonic Sam on the D? We could have been one of the best teams of all time.

The defense won't be down for long. Or at least this bad. The future studs are still wet behind the ears and on the team but not ready for field action

If Cam stays for 3 or 4 seasons we could have a team with balance we all have been yearning for.

Think of it this way:

If cam wasn't here now LSU would lose 6-7 games this year

Try fricking 3 years too late.

Crowton should've been gone after 09.

This is truly Key. I don't see Cam sticking around for too long if this 180 he's done to our offense stands the test of time. He's probably pretty butthurt over the Ravens fiasco last year and probably will want one more chance to prove himself in the pros

Agreed. If Cam was not here, this team would be a 5-6 loss team.

Woulda', shoulda', coulda'....living in the past is not healthy for ya'! No one on this board knows what's in the heart of Cam...what he's done for Mett. has to be very rewarding to him...he's literally changed the life of a young man...if he's happy here, who knows how long he stays...he might just be the next HC right here at LSU!

Well he is here, pretty much making this comment 100% irrelevant.

Going back to JaMarcus, I was wishing for someone on staff to focus on all the microscopic elements that go into successfully playing QB at this level...and above.

Glad Cam is there, don't know how long we'll have him since his work has surely attracted attention. I hope he instills some lasting expectations for QB play at LSU that will continue long after he moves on.

Watch, defense gets better next year but the offense will take a step back for losing Mett, Landry, Beckham and Hill.

No doubt we should see a drop off from Mett and supporting cast. This is the most prolific offense LSU has possibly ever had.

But if Cam can turn Mett into what he is today from what he was in 2012 then LSU's offense will be sufficient enough to win ballgames. Anthony Jennings is a talented young man and with the young offensive weapons already on campus to go with a super talented 2014 class.. I don't think LSU will go back to the offenses of 2009-2012.

Y'all just don't shite on cam when a RS freshman can't display the same results as a senior mett. The offense will take a minor step back and chavis' defense will take a step forward.
