If Gilbert ends up not playing this year will he be eligible for a medical redshirt? If so do you guys think he will come back next year?

I don’t think he’s still hurt. I’m pulling for the kid. LSU through and through and had to grow up around gumps.

Wow, didn’t even realize I misspelled it. Maybe that’s why no one responded.

Caleb will graduate in engineering with a very high GPA. Chances are he moves on with the rest of his life.

He hasn't had a redshirt year yet, so why would he apply for a medical redshirt?

his lsu career is likely over
hate to see it come down to injury but they will likely need that roster spot

If he really can't get his mojo back, they should break his arm and see if he starts throwing 100mph like that movie from the early 2000s

His best line was explaining that both of his parents were LSU grads who lived in Hoover, AL and then he said, "I grew up behind enemy lines."

My brother goes to unlock in Lafayette with him. They are both in recovery as of now. Caleb is throwing 94-97...... but he says he still hurts really bad.

The reason I started the tread was due to listening to CPM on the show the other day talking about him and his performance in the CWS year before last. That dude has been clutch in some big time games. I wish the best for him whatever he decides to do. Still remember that performance against those bums from Oregon!
