Raymond had in the right direction in land 1 or 2 top recruits in rb's but coach O scared them both off. It's not coach Raymond that is the problem. It is 100 percent coach O that is the problem. Poor coaching, poor recruiting tactics, not aggressive, not getting it done on the field. Get it done on the field and recruits will come. Lsu lost 2 easy games for 2017 season, the other 2 could have easily been wins if would have coached instead of a brain fart

He recruited fine after O took over last year and had us right in the mix, even in position to land until some bad decisions were made, with some big time kids this year. Of course this cycle is gonna always be remembered for losing Surtain, I blame him because it was his job, but we couldve had Anthony Cook and Goodrich if horrible numbers decisions weren't made. His resume would be much better if one or both this kids were allowed to commit when they wanted.
Cooper was a better developer and teacher. Lazy recruiter.

C Raymond is known to be the best recruiter and top DB coach in the country. Surtain was forced to go to bama. Cried for days. Something is going on behind the scenes. High turnover of staff. This is all falls on shrimp boat Capitan. Even Washington had a better recruiting class.

Raymond is a great recruiter.

Just like we heard for a month that it wouldn't be Ensminger and we were guaranteed to sign Surtain. All of these overconfident opinions have led to real disappointment. With this staff, I currently believe that all things negative are extremely possible.
