I have seen them as high as $349...some sites have them for $250, but $239 might be the best price...

good price but got mine for $130.00 a yr ago from amazon.com. It was a price mistake and they rose the price back up 5 minutes after I bought it, but they honored my order. I wish I would have bought 2. Awesome pit.

Yeah, the one from Sam's Club is made by a cheap competitor. It weighs 32 lbs. The LSU pits weigh 50lbs and are hand-welded with no assembly required. Also, the cheap knockoff from Sam's Club with the cute stars and moon has to be assembled.

I had one just like that I bought from Ace Hardware, but didn't have the Collegiate logos. Bought mine for $99. So looks like they are marking these babies up quite a bit.

The ones from Ace Hardware weight 20lbs and you have to assemble. The ones WhoaDay! sells are hand-welded and are much larger and weight 50 lbs.
