I think if McMillan deep down thought he didn't have a shot he would've been gone already.

We have not had any QB depth to even vaguely work on this since 2008. We had Mettenberger and no,backup. Now we finally have QB depth and a visible pipeline of QB talent on the recruiting board.

How did Brennan pass McMillan and Narcisse last fall only to be not ready his sophomore season?
His skill set as a pro style QBs matched Etling. He could come in and play without changing the Playbook.

I think he was playing the "wait my turn" game and felt this year was going to be his best shot, at least before Burrow.
I think the QBs have been told that it's a true open competition. Whether that's O telling the truth or them being manipulated is up for debate.
