He doesn’t even need an agent if he’s planning on going to Cincy. The rookie cap determines his contract.

He hasn’t had a break in months. Most players get time off in December and early January.
Agree.

Glad to see him get some R&R

Yeah, our guys played in the only bowl that counts. Let the great seniors from teams that either went to minor bowls or no bowl at all fill those spots, to get some last minute draft recognition.

Terrible take. There is a shite ton more to a rookie contract than the term, the total value and the guaranteed money, although I will concede those big ticket items are largely predetermined by the rookie cap.

But, you need an agent AND a lawyer. And a money guy. You can get by with just those 3, but you need the right 3 and you need all of them.

That guy has literally been on the road for months.

I’m sure a couple weeks at HOME before he starts training again is what the guy needs.

So Jimmy burrow is lying? He said Joe would be happy to be a bengal

What else would you expect him to say?

“Nah, frick the bengals”

great idea! Start his pro career like Eli Manning.

He needs a financial adviser. He doesn’t need an agent for his rookie deal. If Richard Sherman can do it, Big Dick Joe can do it especially on a rookie deal as the first pick.

Burrow family is surrounded with friends and colleagues who know the NFL system inside and out.

They are probably considering all their options before signing an elite management team.

If the Bengals needed to see any more, then I really do hope they trade the first pick.

I hope they trade it anyway.

At his age (unless he's close with someone great with money) he needs an agent, lawyer, financial adviser, and a good accountant. Have the lawyer, financial adviser, and accountant all keep an eye on each other.

Whatever Joe does is fine with me...it's his business! Don't let the Democrats know...but he could win the White House back for 'em if he wanted to.
But I'm hoping he's more aligned with Republicans cause he'll be able to keep more of his money that way. Those pesky DemoRats will have us all working for half a paycheck.

He had played 15 games, is injured and has nothing to prove. Good move.

LOL yourself!

People thought he's use the time at the Senior Bowl to get to know the Bengals HC and staff (coaching at the Senior Bowl).

Not the least bit unreasonable. Whether he took a snap or not.

Sounds like someones upset that their already planned trip to Mobile wont include seeing Joe/aka another autograph opportunity.

What?

Already said he needs the R&R. And I'm glad he's taking the week off.

And while I don't agree, it is indeed perfectly reasonable for some to think spending a week with the Bengals HC & staff could have made sense. Whether he took a snap or not.

Nah...he will have plenty of time to get to know them. He doesn't need to "interview" for shite.

I wouldn’t let Joe play a game of flag football against a Girl Scout troop before he had a signed contract and the bonus money in his bank account
