Who has a stronger arm.

I dont Think the competition is did initiate proof.

Originally I just Said Haskins is a better passer with a stronger arm. It was an arguement about whether we should run Burrow more or less.l than OSU ran Haskins.

Sammy. You can't disagree with whether Burrow beat Haskins in the competition. Those are the facts. What exactly are you trying to dispute?
Exactly.

If Haskins arm was as strong as Sammy and the media hype claims... Geez, Haskins would have slung it 20 yards farther.

But, nope. couldn't throw it quite as far as Burrow - in 2016 or 2017 - and with 100,000 in the stands watching - and a few million watching at home on TV.

Sammy - you've been brainwashed, dude.

Jeez dude give it up. Burrow is not a better QB than Haskins. I’m glad we have him but Haskins is a better QB and that’s all there is to it.

Are you under the impression that you know more than Urban Meyer when it comes to evaluating QB talent?

That is exactly the false narrative I'm attempting to expose.

Better stats for Haskins? Yes. Better QB? No.

No, Slick. Meyer called them equal numerous times during the months before Burrow transferred.

So once again I ask if you think you know more about evaluating QBs than Urban does? I mean don’t you think Meyer was pretty damn good at his job?

Burrow threw 64 yards
Haskins threw 63

Burrow was out of the end zone
Haskins was still in it.

It’s 1 throw.

On the other side of the argument the film shows Haskins arm translates on the field. He throws good deep balls with good accuracy and velocity.

Burrow is fine but he has trouble zipping deep balls in there.

LINK

:50 underthrows wide open Jefferson whonhd to stop and make a catch falling or if bounds instead of catching and running.

1:33 Jefferson again has his man beat and Burrow can’t hit him in stride.

3:20 Chae to slow down to catch an slightly under thrown ball.

LINK

Haskins is throwing is 40+ yards in the air and hitting guys in stride. He’s make awkward throws with enough velocity to get the ball where it needs to go.

He can sling a ball into a tight window better than Joe. And Joe isn’t bad, he isn’t Danny Etling. He’s got a good arm. Haskins just has a great arm.

This is not an indication of a weak arm.

Who’s a better runner? Burrow or Haskins?

If burrow is a better runner and they’re equal, than Haskins has to be better at something else.

Good day Mr/Mrs. Burrow (you must be one or the other). I want to let you know that all of us, as LSU fans, are thrilled to death that your son, Joe, decided to transfer to LSU to play football after getting beat out by Dwayne Haskins....I mean after out-playing Dwayne Haskins but getting shite on by the Ohio State coaching staff.

Here's to wishing the Burrow family a happy Friday.

Hold up... You think Joe's a better quarterback then Dewayne Haskins is, rite now? Seriously or are you trolling?

What is your obsession with Joe?

All your posts are only about him... He's in ur name on here or at least inspired it.. Are you related to him or go to high school with him?

I love having Burrow but he’s nowhere close to sniffing the first or even second round in the 2020 draft while Haskins is 1st round talent. That pretty much blows your argument completely out of the water.

This is not an indication of a weak arm.
And it is also a false premise. Underthrows are more oftern than not, either part of the planned route (let the DB keep going full speed past the point the ball comes down) - or lack of timing and chemistry between the QB & WR - to be expected when they have had less than a year to work together

Burrow’s arm is not as strong as Haskins but that doesn’t mean he’s not a good qb still. I watched Haskins throw at the combine and I can promise you Burrow can’t air it out like Haskins. I don’t care about arm strength as much as accuracy. As long as he can make all the throws that the offense requires it doesn’t matter. The only time you ever truly see a qb air it out is on a Hail Mary. One area Burrow has Haskins badly beaten is with his legs. Haskins moves like he’s got cement in his shoes.

If it were true it would. But it is not.

You are jumping the gun by an entire football season. Step back and watch.

It doesn’t matter. Burrow is our guy. We're lucky to have a well rounded, heady quarterback like Joe.
Whether Haskins is better or has a stronger arm is immaterial. Haskins played in a highly developed, mature offense behind a good line in 2018 while Burrow played in a basic offense behind a struggling line.
Burrow has potential to shine this year if Brady infuses some life in the offense, the OL is not a turnstile and Emery can add a real running threat. It’s about the whole being greater than the sum.
