Burrow has a slightly stronger arm than Haskins in direct competitions

[Link to video of long-ball competition between Burrow and Haskins below]
Can't count the times on the Rant that a few posters have claimed that Dwayne Haskins has a stronger arm than Joe Burrow. He doesn't. Haskins fires full velocity on almost every pass. Burrow throws with touch (takes more skill, BTW)
There's a yearly long-throw competition at OSU's Spring Game half-time Haskins never beat Burrow in the long throw competition. The long throw is a fan favorite. People even bet on it. Close to 100,000 fans show up for Spring game.
In the 2017 long throw, Haskins came in 4th. Cardale Jones was 1st (former players can compete) ; Darrin Lee was 2nd (high school QB - LB in college and NFL); Burrow was 3rd; and, again, Haskins was 4th. JT Barrett was 5th.
Burrow beat Haskins in 2016 too. (In 2017, the halftime competition was rained out)

He also throws from about a yard farther forward.
The different is 64 and 63 yards.
I’ve watch both them throw.
The arm strength is not the same.

I can't tell if you are a troll or you really want Burrow deep inside you.
I love Joe Burrow btw, he is easily my favorite QB since Flynn.

What’s insane is that this whole thing started in another thread where I aaid We shouldn’t limit his carries because that’s one of his strengths that make him overall a good QB.
Haskins doesn’t run because the risk doesn’t outweight the reward. He’s a better passer and a worse runner.
And he goes off telling me they’re the same as passers burrow has a stronger arm and that Day named Haskins starter because he wanted a passer who couldn’t run, even if he’s a worse passer.

I wouldn't go as far as saying Joe isn't a first rounder. He might not be, but lets see what he does this year.

Burrow is going to turn a lot of heads this fall. I think he becomes an all-time great Tiger and maybe breaks a ton of single season passing records.
He's mature. He's tough as nails. He's got weapons. He has the talent, both throwing and running. He has a much improved running game in the works, as well as what should be a more serviceable Oline. He has a fresh, young assistant who worked with Sean Payton. He is in an offense in which he is comfortable. And what I think it most important, he will have had a full year with his receivers to work on chemistry and timing. I think a lot of people forget he transferred pretty late and had to learn an entirely new playbook before the Miami game.
I haven't ever expected an offensive explosion from LSU aside from maybe 2013. I can't remember what I expected from that offense. I am 100% expecting us to be a top offense in the SEC and possibly even the nation.
This is our best shot to make a run.

Don't be fooled. Haskins throws full velocity on almost every pass. Burrow throws with touch.

On the field when it matter Haskin can zip the ball in there and Joe has trouble not under throwing Jefferson on deep routes.

Sammy. You can't disagree with whether Burrow beat Haskins in the competition. Those are the facts. What exactly are you trying to dispute?
