Just my observation.

Holds it too long.

Lacking pocket awareness and because of it takes too many hits.

Is not as accurate as previously thought.

I mention only these things because honestly they cant be "taught" at this point. Hes in his 4th year of college football

Sure, our offensive line isnt fully in tact and that plays into the discussion.

All I've heard all tear is how great our wr's are and there is no lack of talent there...so I'm assuming the issue lies elsewhere.

We'll see how it plays out but I think getting Brennan some reps will come sooner rather than later. I fo jot think it will help if he does, other than prepare him for next season if Burrow doesnt improve.

This team HAS to have over 50% completion success or it will be a long year

He’s obviously the answer... is this even a legitimate question?

We have over 60 points in two games. Confirmed answer.

We should hit over 60% on our passes. If we are struggling to hit 50, we are going 6-6.

Last week he was practically the second coming of Jesus Christ. Now, the question is if he is part of the problem?

Man, you guys sure are wishy-washy.

It’s hard to say at this point.

So far he looks no better than Etling.

But he is hamstrung by a bad O line and terrible offensive play calling.

When did I say he was great last week?

He was solid. But still 50%.

There have been plenty of drops, too, bruh. That’s not on Joe B. The receivers need to tighten up, big time.

No QB even Peyton Manning. Tom Brady. Drew Brees, or Joe Montana can do anything without pass protection. OUR O LINE SUCKS!!

Being talented and displaying that talent when the lights go on are entirely different. In game reps is the only way to fix that

Oh here we go, so burrow sucks now?

Look this was his second start. I saw a different qb this game from the Miami game. I’m guessing and hoping that this team started game play for Auburn early. Joe wasn’t reading the defense like he was against Miami. Just looked to be a lack of study for this game.

Bingo.

This, we can have a discussion about. Drops are hurting us.

Brennan is the backup. The starter needs, deserves and has earned all the reps. God forbid he gets hurts, THEN Brennan gets in-game reps. Just MHO.

The offense we have witnessed these two games is more of the same ineptitude that has been the signature staple of LSU for years.

Burrow has not shown much imho. Maybe Brennan.

The O-line as it performed last night will lead to a minimum of 5 SEC losses.

I agree. 3 drops last week that were easy catches.

So you're saying the wr's are causing his bad play. It's possible, to a point.
When a qb drops back and cant fire to his hot read it's a problem. Either the wr sucks and ran bad/wrong route, or the qb isnt able to get his reads right and let the ball go

The problem could be presnap reads. If so, that's the worst problem of all!

Pretty sure this was the same thing said about last week’s performance- 50% ain’t gonna cut it.

I don't think you understand "pocket presence "

Laugh away. Did you think he would be below 50%?

I’m sorry, but no. I appreciate Etling’s leadership and game management, but he freaked out worse than this under heavy pressure. He wasn’t as big, or as fast. He didn’t have nearly the zip on the ball that Burrow is capable of. And do you ever remember seeing Etling audible into anything that had an impact in a game? We haven’t had a QB the coaches trusted to make calls since Mett. There’s a reason for that.

Burrow is far from perfect and needs help that he isn’t getting yet, but he has more talent than Etling. If you can’t see that, then it’s because you don’t want to. I shudder to think what Danny would look like in this offense and with this O Line.
