I think that he was originally a frequent caller to Norman "Nasty" Molvar's WKJN-FM sports talk show before Norman Nasty bolted to Slidell-area sports radio. Buddy's Sports Page was on WIBR-AM for years until Hurricane Gustav shut down the station permanently. I think that he was going to try to revive the show out of some Donaldsonville station at one point.

He does a Wednesday night show with Scarborough that’s actually pretty good. It’s on YouTube.
BTW, our overall "Quality of Life" here in Florida is light years better than it was in Luzianner.
It's like living in some Futuristic Nirvana compared to Louisiana. (I only occasionally miss the food and being geographically close to LSU)

John Fein and Brian Rushing pioneered LSU talk radio in the late 80s. Are they still around? I remember that Fein would do the offseason (football) for LSU and try to carry the conversation with few callers. This was right before lsu became a perennial top team.
