So anyone care to offer any advice about buying Championship game tickets? Is best option through NCAA ticket exchange or will there be an opportunity to buy through LSU or are they easy to get outside the park for face?

The only way you're going to get tickets through LSU is if you have season tickets and put in a request.

Top three places not to miss during our trip?

Went 2013 and even though it's now set up like a park, I really enjoyed seeing where old Rosenblatt Stadium was. Hallowed ground for LSU baseball fans, there is a little LSU magic still lingering in the air there, or was that the smell of the zoo next door?

nothing like a group of grown me chasing down autographs.

I knew the moment I read that in the OP that someone was gonna be a dick and it didn't take long. I'm not an autograph seeker myself AT ALL but am often interested in the best way to get them FOR MY SON'S SAKE!!! And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he say his son and nephew will be there too? Well dick, maybe the son and nephew are younger children. Do you know otherwise?

The 3 teams on our side of the bracket won't bring a huge amount of fans so we'll probably get some back from them.

that's good to know

thankfully arkansas is on the other side from a ticket standpoint

they're definitely going to be number two behind LSU fans

Thanks-that was pretty ridiculous

There was a time you could post something like this and get a lot of good suggestions but now there are more people who feel that they need to ridicule and put people down. I do appreciate the advice from the Tiger fans who have experienced Omaha in the past and had the good fortune to be there when our beloved Tigers won it all!

I've been twice and gone to LSU practices which were enjoyable. Real lighthearted, fun practices to loosen players up. 2008 practice was at Creighton and my sons picked up more home run balls than they could carry. Two years ago, team practiced at a high school. Practice times and locations will be posted in Advocate and CWS site. They can also get autographs after practice.

Restaurants
Lo Sole Mio - authentic Italian. PMs pic is on wall and he frequents when Tigers are in Omaha.

The Drover - steak house. Like stepping into a 70s time capsule, except for prices.

Zesto - ice cream by stadium.

Mattress Factory - sports bar and grill near stadium. Local BR radio shows are doing pregame shows there and it'll be full of Tigers.

Omaha also has a bike rental program. Rent a bike and ride across the pedestrian bridge near stadium to Iowa.

Lastly, Barrett s, which is not for kids.

Never been to the zoo or Boys Town. Rode to Lincoln two years ago and a security guard gave us a private tour of Nebraska athletic facilities. Nice town and impressive facilities.

Sounds like two sets of father and son. Make the drive to Field of Dreams and have a catch. Memory will last long after you are gone.

Forgot a MUST Do, especially with kids. Go to old Rosenblatt and see the miniature field and old foul poles.
