Did he get a hit? Raise his average to 0.130? That just means he's 0 for the next 9.

How many times do they hit him?

At least he posted a statistical fact. Unlike Skip's last season being 2002.

He's 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Right now he's the Offensive Player of the Game.

Awesome. Glad he's doing well. Got his average up to 0.161 then

Why don't you tell us again how Mainieri ruined Louis Coleman's arm so he could never pitch again after he pitched two innings in relief against Georgia, Mr. Baseball Expert??

Yep 2-2 with a single and a homer plus a walk. Two runs scored, two rbis.
Not bad for the weak link is it?

None of that happens without my motivation. You're welcome!

You mean how Coleman had his three worst outings of the season after that weekend?
Or how after Dunn was hired Dunn completely cut out Mainieri's love of using guys out of the pen and having them start in the same weekend?
Oh yeah.

They know what they are doing more than you know what you are saying.

The thing is stats are just one part of the equation. The coach sees these guys every day. He knows how they are swinging during games and at practice. And that goes to all of the players.
Despite protestations from people here the young man has done very well despite what the stats said. Time to give the guy credit and hope he continues with a hot bat rather than dwell on the past.

I was in Athens for that series. Good times.

It was the oddest thing I've seen stat wise for a righty to hit 0.369 vs righties and 0.100 vs lefties. It had been they way for a while. At what point does it become a rule rather than an anomaly? He's going to play. He needs to play. I really am happy he's had such a good day.
