I've never seen anything out of Emery that said we just need to get his grades right. He's a dime a dozen RB that can barely get his name in an LSU boxscore. Likely not to happen this season either with RB playing QB.

I like it. John can focus on school.
Kelly ‘s not committing to him, so others get their chances. If John comes back and contributes, that’s great. If not, we would have already coached up the others in his place.
And CBK shows the whole team, that he cares about their success in school.

Good for Kelly. I doubt Emory is a petroleum engineering major. He's got all the tutors in the world at his fingertips. Does he just not give a flip?
