Your freedoms can end for a temporary time if it’s reasonable.

Asking police to investigate differently isn’t the same as doing away with crimes.
Reasonable suspicion comes from the basic understanding that there are crimes and that certain behavior and other factors are indicative of being related to criminal behavior. We all get that you don’t like it. Trying to use the limited government argument is stupid. You have an opinion on the definition of reasonableness and you’re entitled to it. The courts are always going to allow for the preservation of life first and foremost so regardless of whether or not a major crime was committed, the argument can be made that two people hiding from police present a threat that they have the right to address.

And if we’re gonna pretend every interaction between police and citizens are potentially lethal encounters
We don’t have to pretend. Reality bears that out.

than we should limit them where we can.
Again, no role for the citizen, only police. Got it.

The role For citizens is to not commit fricking crimes.
Which they didn’t.
Setting the role as “don’t look suspicious or we’ll stop you” is bullshite.

There was a time not too long ago that wearing a mask in public would result in getting stopped and questioned by police. People of your mindset managed to get that completely turned upside down. You should be proud.

As I said before, just think if Koy hadn’t lied. Why did he choose to assail the character of these officers ? They were just doing their job. He should be held accountable. He could be sued for libel.

Because he doesn’t have to like that they thought he was a criminal, pointed a gun and him and told him to but his fricking hands on the hood and then went through his pockets.

These folks on here are lost. Two officers received LORs based on the video but they think his scholarship should be pulled. The cop was wrong af

Why do you think it’s appropriate to intentionally omit important details that you know about just for the sake of your argument?

What detail am I omitting.
What were they doing besides “looking” suspicious?
That’s a FAVORABLE telling of the facts as far as the cops are concerned.

Do you ever cuss?

So, he had to lie ?? He could have just walked away.. .... Instead, he committed a crime.

By now you already know. The story you tell is “police came up and drew their guns on two innocent teenagers”. Koy couldn’t have told it better himself.

That’s irrelevant. The language is a violation whether a gun was used or not.

I said They “looked suspicious”. What fact am I leaving out?
And they were two innocent teens. That’s also a fact.
Lots of downvotes for nothing but facts.

It’s pretty fricking relevant to everyone but the cops.

So the cops were reprimanded for cussing but only because they had guns out? Come on, it was about the language and not the gun.
