Scouts saying his measurements are off the charts and that hes flying up the draft board...Possibly number 9 with the Panthers.
Wish we had him for next year but the guy obviously made the right decision.

I wish more people could have realized that a month ago instead of saying everybody is jumping ship because of 1/9. RR, Mo, and Brockers could all be first rounders. They definitely made the right decision

Where did those extra 17 pounds come from? He's only a cheeseburger away from playing NT in a 3-4. He can play any position on a DL except 4-3 DE. What a freak.

I might be thinking of someone else.. But wasn't he a light defensive end coming out of high school? Real good pass rusher

I think he could play that too. just might not be a pass rusher from that spot.

He was listed at 6'6, 255. So not light exactly, but thinner, yes.

He did come in as a dend but was more of a strong side guy with average speed (for a d end). Coaches moved him down and put a little weight on him, he kept the D end speed, and now hes a freak DT

if the guy runs 4.8 4.9 he is going to be a top 8 pick

Good for Brock, top 10 would be incredible

He was more like a Javonte Magee when he was in HS. He showed up on campus at around 280 and the staff thought a move should be made.

Change that to any position in a 3-4 DL and I agree. He is in no way, shape or form a 4-3 DE. He can play either inside position in a 4-3 though.

Hes a grizzly bear at DT. Playing at DE gave him that speed now he is a mammoth DT with good quickness

That's what I pretty much said. He could play anywhere on a 3-4 and anywhere on a 4-3 minus end.
He's like a taller, bigger Muhammad Wilkerson who got to play against SEC competition. I was big on Wilkerson during the last draft BTW.

Saban listed Jarvis Green at 259 as a Senior Defensive End, just for the sake of comparison.

Brockers may crack top 5... Those measurables are impressive, he was already top 10

It's crazy that he could go in the top 10 and yet many didn't even consider him to be LSU's best D-lineman last season

The competition is pretty stiff up top. Lots of QB needy teams will be looking at Luck and Griffin at the very top and most people would agree right now that Claiborne is a better LSU prospect than Brockers. Kalil is a franchise LT with great measurables and is looking like a stud in the combine drills. He ran a sub-5.0 40 at 6'7" 306. Then you have the household names like Richardson and Blackmon. I can't see him cracking the top 5 unless he runs like a 260 pound DE.
